For many of the participants—including Vivek, Ram, Ratan, and Abhishek—this marked their first appearance at HYROX, making their performances even more commendable.

The team underwent structured training at Xtraliving, a HYROX-affiliated training center, which played a key role in preparing them for the demands of the race. The focused training approach helped the athletes build endurance, strength, and race-day confidence.

Speaking about the experience, Vivek Goel, Founder of the High Five Tribe, said,

“This was our first HYROX experience, and finishing in the Top 10 was incredibly rewarding. It’s a very well-executed event format that truly tests both physical and mental strength. The training at Xtraliving made a huge difference in our preparation. We’re excited to see HYROX growing in India and are looking forward to more participation from the High Five Tribe in upcoming events across cities.”

Abhishek Kandi shared his journey into the sport:
“I was never into sports earlier, but HYROX changed everything for me. I started with long runs to build endurance and then trained with WeAreHybridFit, where I developed strength, improved my technique, and gained confidence. This experience has been a huge shift, and I’m now aiming for even better results in the upcoming editions.”

Sushmita, reflecting on her performance, said:
“We shaved 25 minutes off our previous time in just our second HYROX, and that improvement feels incredible. Months of consistent training, smarter pacing, and pushing beyond our limits truly paid off. It wasn’t just about finishing—it was about evolving as better athletes. The High Five Tribe community has been a huge inspiration, and training together regularly made a big difference.”

The High Five Tribe continues to actively promote fitness through community-led initiatives, encouraging individuals to move beyond traditional workouts and explore new formats like HYROX, which blend strength, endurance, and competition.

With HYROX expanding across multiple cities in India and gaining traction among fitness enthusiasts, performances like these reflect a growing culture of disciplined training, community support, and participation-driven fitness.
